Sports injuries

Let our team help you get back to doing what you love, faster.

It is inevitable that people who participate in sporting activity will become injured from time to time. Early intervention to deal with such injuries has been shown to both speed up recovery and improve the outcome.

At Spire Little Aston we have sports injury specialist physiotherapists who have the knowledge and skill to help you get back to your chosen sport/activity as soon as possible. With elite/professional sports experience and a detailed understanding of the rehabilitation process required to achieve a successful outcome, let our team help you get back to doing what you love, faster.

Return to play service

The most vulnerable time for people returning to sport from injury is often the initial phase of reintegration to training or competition.

Commonly people do not complete what we term late or end stage rehabilitation sufficiently and this can result in a return of the original injury or the development of a secondary problem. The risk of this can be minimised by optimising the End Stage rehabilitation which involves the provision of progressive functional exercise programs, relevant to your sport and realistic graded loading advice in order to safely return you to the same level/quantity of training that you were doing before becoming injured.

Who is this service available to?

This service is available to all people returning to sport from musculoskeletal injury even if their initial phases of recovery have been overseen elsewhere. It is also available to those who are not injured but want a training program designed to identify physical weaknesses (in terms of strength, flexibility and movement competency) and prevent future problems.
