A health assessment is a great way to understand your current state of health as well as helping to spot potential health problems that may need treatment or that you can minimise through lifestyle changes. There are a range of assessments to choose from depending on your health and lifestyle goals.
You’ll complete a detailed health questionnaire before your assessment which you’ll go through with a health adviser and/or a Bupa doctor. The assessments include a number of tests to check key health indicators such as cholesterol levels and blood pressure. After your assessment, you’ll receive a personalised health report and action plan with practical lifestyle advice to help minimise health risks.
You can choose from five health assessments at Bupa health centres within Spire hospitals and clinics. Specialised assessments are also available for addressing specific health concerns.
We've made changes to how the assessments take place and some services have been temporarily suspended.
We're introducing a telephone appointment for the first part of your assessment giving you time to talk through any health concerns with a doctor without leaving home. The doctor will then confirm how the other parts of the assessment will take place and if you'll need to come in to a health centre.
You can find out more on our coronavirus information page.
We offer a range of more specialised assessments which can be taken on their own or added on to any of the primary health assessments.
These assessments are currently not available:
