Your consultations

Once you’ve made an enquiry, we can arrange for you to meet with one of our cosmetic or breast surgeons in a private consultation room – usually within a few days. There’ll be a chance to discuss your reasons for having treatment, as well as your medical history. Your consultant will explain what will happen during the procedure, including the type of anaesthetic you'll have. They may also need you to have a pre-operative assessment.

Your consultant will explain that there’s no pressure to make any decisions during the appointment. Even if you’re confident you want to go ahead, there’s plenty of time to change your mind during the two week cooling-off period. Before you go ahead with the operation, you’ll need to have a pre-operative assessment.

You may be able to go home on the same day as your operation. If you do need to stay overnight, you'll have one of our 28 private en-suite rooms. All of our rooms have:

Here’s what to expect after you arrive for your breast uplift surgery:

• You’ll meet your surgical team and anaesthetist
• You’ll be given a general anaesthetic so you’ll be asleep for the operation
• Your surgeon will carry out the operation to lift and reshape your breasts, using the technique previously agreed at your consultation
• Your operation will take around one to three hours

After surgery, you’ll probably feel some pain or discomfort – our nursing team will give you painkillers to help you with this.
