A new £9.5m outpatient and diagnostic centre has been unveiled at Wrexham’s Spire Yale Hospital by Spire Healthcare CEO, Justin Ash. The opening of the new Chesney Court Imaging, Orthopaedic and Outpatient Centre will increase the number of patients the hospital can treat, expand the range of patient services available, and provide faster care for day case patients.

Spire Wellesley Hospital has maintained its overall ‘Good’ rating, and has been rated ‘Outstanding’ for being well-led, up from ‘Good,’ the last time it was inspected. This follows an unannounced inspection of surgical services by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in September 2022. The previous inspection had been in 2018.
