Following my discharge on Friday by Mr Edwards I would just like to write to pass on my thanks to all the staff at Spire for their professional care during my treatment.
From the very personable receptionists at Lowfield Road to the nurses, physiotherapists and doctors I have been immensely impressed by their professional and caring manner.
I would like to say a thank you to Physio John Naylor who impressed me with his very thorough and professional manner in the first instance, before guiding me onto an appointment with Mr Edwards.
Next, Mr Edwards came across as the consummate professional whose sole objective was to provide the highest level of care and expertise. The first appointment was on 8 September. The x-ray was completed there and then and after a discussion on the options I was offered an operation day of 22 September. What amazing customer service!
Following the operation Mr Edwards came to see me on the Saturday and Sunday which I think demonstrated a real and genuine interest in his patient and his work.
I would also like to say a thank you to the excellent nurses who looked after me during my stay. Paul admitted me on the Friday and with his excellent sense of humour—I have never laughed so much for ages—immediately put me at ease.
I would like to particularly thank Chloe, Holly, Amanda, Kerry, Lauren and Gail all of whom gave me the benefit of their excellent care during my stay. And finally to the very warm Sue Stark who carried out the TWOC on the Sunday following my release. There are others whose names I didn’t catch and who I interacted with fleetingly but who nevertheless gave me the benefit of their expertise.
