Patricia Tetley, 67, had a total hip replacement with consultant orthopaedic surgeon Mr Aaron Ng.
67 year old Patricia first noticed pain in her hip in 2012. As a keen gardener and dog walker she wasn’t able to walk any distance, which finally left her house bound prior to her surgery in January 2016.
Her GP suggested some blood tests and an x-ray which showed osteoarthritis in her left hip.
After some research on hospitals and consultants she decided to visit Mr Ng at Spire Methley Park Hospital.
Following surgery Patricia said "I feel much better and more or less pain free.
“I am very happy and feel my life is back in order now. If I had known the outcome of the surgery I would have had it done sooner" said Patricia.
