We welcome your views on our website and invite you to take part in a brief survey when you've finished your visit.
Your response will help us improve the site and the experience we offer to visitors.
We offer tests that can quickly and effectively diagnose a range of blood disorders - such as anaemia, blood clotting disorders and more rare conditions such as leukaemia and sickle cell anaemia.
If you're being treated for one of these disorders, regular tests with samples analysed in our specialist laboratories will help you and your clinicians monitor the effectiveness of treatment.
During an initial appointment with one of our expert healthcare professionals you’ll discuss your medical history and any symptoms you've been experiencing.
They might then recommend additional testing to confirm or rule out whether any one of a number of blood-related conditions could be causing you to feel ill.
Some of these conditions can particularly affect older people and those with a weakened immune system.
A nurse or technician will take a small sample of your blood that will be analysed in our specialist laboratories.
We pride ourselves on our clinical excellence, you'll be looked after by an experienced multi-disciplinary care team.
A fixed price for this treatment may be available on enquiry and following an initial consultation.
Spire Healthcare can provide you with a single, fixed price so there are no surprises. Please read Spire Healthcare's terms and conditions for full details of what’s included and excluded in your fixed price when paying for yourself. Finance options are available through our partner Omni Capital Retail Finance Ltd, 10 Norwich Street, London, EC4A 1BD.
Our patients are at the heart of what we do and we want you to be in control of your care.
All of our nurses are of the highest standard and benefit from working in our modern, well-equipped hospitals.
You will have a formal consultation with a healthcare professional. During this time you will be able to explain your medical history, symptoms and raise any concerns that you might have.
We will also discuss with you whether any further diagnostic tests, such as scans or blood tests, are needed. Any additional costs will be discussed before further tests are carried out.
We've tried to make your experience with us as easy and relaxed as possible.
For more information on visiting hours, our food, what to pack if you're staying with us, parking and all those other important practicalities, please visit our patient information pages.
Our dedicated team will also give you tailored advice to follow in the run up to your visit.
A nurse will take blood from a vein in your arm for analysis in our laboratories. We’ll then swiftly send the results to your Spire consultant or NHS GP or consultant.
We'll book an appointment convenient with you so we can discuss with the results with you. We take an integrated approach so we can organise any other care that you may need should your test results show something abnormal.
The treatment described on this page may be adapted to meet your individual needs, so it's important to follow your healthcare professional's advice and raise any questions that you may have with them.
