What does the clinic provide?

  • An outpatient appointment with one of our Consultants to discuss your condition and treatment options
  • Expert physical examination
  • Consultation time with our highly experienced breast-care nurse.
  • Breast imaging (2D mammographyultrasound imaging)
  • Fine needle aspiration cytology and core biopsy pathology if required
  • A follow up consultation with one of our Consultants to discuss your results

Who can use the clinic?

The Breast Clinic is open to all whether you have private medical insurance or not. If you are not covered by private medical insurance, one-off private treatment is available with a fixed price agreed in advance.

Do I need a referral?

You will only need a medical referral if you are using your private medical insurance. Referrals can be made by your GP or any other medical practitioner.

If you are paying for your own treatment, you will not need a referral.
