I have worked as a Physiotherapist for over 20 years, initially specialising in cardio-respiratory physiotherapy and later in orthopaedic rehabilitation. I have trained as a hand and wrist specialist following a Master’s Degree in hand and wrist therapy. I have established a successful hand and wrist service at Spire Little Aston, with the aim of developing a leading hand service in the region.

I have extensive experience of treating a variety of hand conditions including the production of bespoke splints, and part of my extended role includes the delivery of joint and tendon injections.

I offer ergonomic advice and advice and education for post-operative wrist and hand patients. I also provide soft tissue/manual therapy, tendinopathy rehabilitation, rehabilitation for respiratory patients, including long COVID recover. I have a special interest in conservative management of osteoarthritis in the hand and hand and wrist sporting injuries.

In addition to my physiotherapy role above, I am also the lead respiratory outpatient therapist for the hospital treating a variety of respiratory conditions and am currently involved in the development and establishment of the long COVID rehabilitation service. This involves chest clearance techniques, dysfunctional breathing rehabilitation and pulmonary rehabilitation advice and exercises.
