Specialises in
I am a Consultant Cardiologist with extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of heart conditions, with a particular interest in heart failure and cardiac imaging.
I see patients with symptoms such as chest pain, breathlessness and palpitations, as well as long-term conditions including heart failure and irregular heart rhythms. I use a range of investigations, including echocardiography and cardiac MRI, to help build a clear understanding of each patient’s condition and guide the most appropriate treatment.
I trained in London before gaining further specialist experience at centres including the Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals, caring for patients with complex heart disease. I later completed specialist cardiology training in the UK, alongside research focused on heart failure and advanced cardiac imaging.
Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in research, education and national guideline development, contributing to improvements in patient care. I also hold an academic role with the University of Liverpool.
I understand that heart-related symptoms can be concerning, so I focus on providing thorough assessments and clear explanations, helping patients and their families feel informed and reassured.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active and following sport.
