I am a Consultant ENT Surgeon in Norwich, Norfolk with a private practice at Spire Norwich Hospital. I am trained in all aspects of ENT surgery, but my fellowship allowed me to gain in depth experience in treating patients with complex ear disease. I have a particular interest in patients with tinnitus and dizziness, and these two conditions are the focus of much of my research. I also have a keen clinical interest in neurotology (vertigo, balance disorders and hearing loss), otology (the diagnosis and treatment of ear diseases) and paediatric ENT.

Other treatments I carry out are nasal polyp treatment, cholesteatoma surgery (treatment to remove non-cancerous skin growths in the middle ear), ossiculoplasty (repair/replace the three bones in the middle ear), Stapes surgery (to treat hearing loss) and revision ear surgery.  I also treat patients with Meniere's disease in my practice.

I am currently a Consultant ENT Surgeon at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and Cromer and District Hospital. I initially trained at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London and was awarded a degree in Neuroscience at University College London. I then took up my consultant position in Norwich after completing a fellowship in Otology and Neurotology at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, Canada. During my fellowship I spent a small period of time at British Columbia Childrens Hospital.

I have carried out research for balance disorders, dizziness, Menier’s disease, tinnitus and vertigo. Please click on the following link to read an article written in the local media: Sorry, can you repeat that? Eastern Daily Press 10/08/2019
