I graduated in Medicine from the University of Glasgow where I also obtained my Ph.D. I trained in clinical cardiology and electrophysiology in Glasgow and Birmingham.
I am a Senior Lecturer in Cardiology at the University of Leicester and Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at Glenfield Hospital, Leicester.
I have active research interests in arrhythmia mechanisms and treatment. My major clinical interest is the management of cardiac arrhythmias, especially catheter ablation.
My other major clinical activity comprises device implantation including pacemaker, implantable defibrillators and biventricular pacing, cardiac electro physiology and cardiac resynchronisatio.
