I am a Consultant ENT Surgeon with wide experience gained from working in several major ENT centres across the UK, including Bristol, Nottingham and Liverpool. I manage the full range of general ear, nose and throat conditions and take pride in providing thorough, evidence‑based care tailored to each individual.
Alongside general ENT practice, I have specialist clinical interests in snoring, sleep‑disordered breathing and sinus disease. I offer injection snoreplasty as an outpatient‑based treatment option for patients troubled by snoring, as well as balloon sinuplasty for selected patients with chronic sinus problems. These minimally invasive techniques are designed to reduce symptoms, improve quality of life and support faster recovery where appropriate.
I also have a strong interest in rhinology and allergy‑related conditions. I currently provide allergy testing and management and am working towards introducing immunotherapy treatments to expand options for patients with persistent allergic disease.
I completed a Master’s degree in research methodology at the University of Liverpool in 2007 and was subsequently appointed as a Clinical Research Fellow at the University. During this time, I undertook research into laryngeal carcinoma, which formed the basis of my MD thesis. I have authored over 30 research publications and conference presentations and have received several research prizes in recognition of this work.
In 2009, I was appointed as the UK Interface Fellow in Head and Neck Surgery, a role that provided extensive subspecialty training and further strengthened my expertise in complex ENT and head and neck conditions.
As well as treating patients with all manner of general ear, nose and throat conditions my special clinical interests include snoring/sleep apnoea and sinus surgery. I offer injection snoreplasty, (an outpatient-based procedure) for patients who snore as well as balloon sinuplasty for patients with sinus problems.
I am also interested in allergy testing and treatments and am hoping to be able to introduce immunotherapy treatments in the near future.
I have over 30 research publications and presentations and have won several research prizes. I was appointed as the UK Interface Fellow in Head and Neck Surgery in 2009 which provided me with extensive subspecialty training.
