I am a Consultant Respiratory Physician with an interest in the investigation and treatment of patients with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). I also see patients with undiagnosed respiratory conditions frequently presenting with symptoms such as breathlessness and chronic cough.
I work at the Severe Asthma Centre in Portsmouth and am the Director of Research at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust. My main research has been on asthma, COPD, and the use of technology to diagnose and treat patients with respiratory conditions. I am also the Clinical Director for the Portsmouth Technology Trials Unit and co-founder of Respiaction – a social enterprise to improve outcomes in respiratory patients through research and education.
