I am a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with over 25 years of experience across the full spectrum of general ophthalmology. I have extensive expertise in the management of cataract and glaucoma, alongside wide‑ranging experience in treating a broad variety of eye conditions.
I specialise in cataract and glaucoma surgery, providing cataract procedures aimed at restoring clear vision. For glaucoma, I offer a full range of treatments including medical management, laser therapies and surgical options, tailored to individual patient needs. My approach includes thorough pre‑assessment and follow‑up care to support safe and precise treatment.
I currently serve as the Lead Glaucoma Consultant at Wrexham Maelor Hospital and as Clinical Lead for Ophthalmology IHC East within Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. My specialist expertise is supported by advanced fellowship training at St Thomas’ Hospital in London.
I provide comprehensive ophthalmic care, combining general ophthalmology with specialist surgical skills. In addition to clinical work, I support the training of junior doctors, ophthalmology trainees and other healthcare professionals, contributing to the development of high standards in patient care.
My practice includes cataract surgery and the full range of glaucoma treatments, including medical therapy, laser procedures and surgical management.
