I am a general gynaecologist, with special interests in minimal access surgery. I also specialise in the outpatient treatment of menstrual disorders. I also have an interest in the treatment of fibroids, menorrhagia, miscarriage, pelvic mass, vaginal prolapse.
After acquiring higher surgical training in obstetrics and gynaecology within West Midlands Deanery, I joined as a Consultant at Good Hope Hospital - Sutton Coldfield. I am accredited by the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical pathology to perform colposcopy for both investigative and treatment procedures. I have completed a special module from the University of Warwick and developed expertise in the management of menopausal problems.
I have published several scientific papers and has presented at national and international conferences. I am actively involved in teaching and training medical students and higher surgical trainees. I am a senior clinical examiner at Birmingham University.
