Ms Alex Read

I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2007. I have a vast range of experience both in the NHS and private sector. My speciality is paediatric physiotherapy, having worked both in the acute and community settings.

I started working at Spire Parkway Hospital in 2000 and since specialising in paediatric physiotherapy I have continued to work on the in-patient wards at weekends. I enjoy meeting a variety of patients and treating them from the acute post-operative stage through to their ongoing rehabilitation programme.

In addition to my clinical work, I have held leadership positions since 2011 as a Team Lead in both the NHS and private sector. I am completing a Coaching and Leadership Apprenticeship in the NHS.
