I am a Physiotherapist with over 18 years of clinical experience, specialising in cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal, neurological and post‑operative rehabilitation. I hold a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (2007) and a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (Cardiorespiratory), both awarded with distinction from institutions affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, India.
I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK and am a member of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists.
My clinical experience spans a wide range of healthcare settings. I began my career at Kovai Medical Center and Hospital (KMCH), a JCI‑ and NABH‑accredited multispecialty hospital, and have since worked at institutions including Bethel Hospital, Dr Mohan’s Diabetes Speciality Centre and the Molecular Diagnostics Counselling Care and Research (MDCRC) Institute in India.
I have managed a diverse caseload including musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiorespiratory conditions, as well as post‑operative rehabilitation for trauma and elective surgery patients. My experience also includes rehabilitation following plastic surgery and burns, hand therapy, gynaecological conditions and genetic disorders such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Alongside my clinical work, I have contributed to physiotherapy education as an assistant professor, supporting the training of future healthcare professionals.
Since 2022, I have been practising at Spire Fylde Coast Hospital, managing both inpatient and outpatient cases. I have a particular interest in upper limb rehabilitation, including hand therapy and splinting, and incorporate these techniques into the wider management of complex rehabilitation needs.
My clinical work includes cardiorespiratory rehabilitation, hand therapy and the provision of hand splinting as part of comprehensive physiotherapy care.
