Professional profile

I provide a service in general urology, with a wide range of clinical interests including benign and malignant prostatic disease, bladder malignancy, urinary tract infection, and the investigation of haematuria. In addition, I have sub-specialty interests in the management of stone disease, and reversal of vasectomy. I have had specific sub-specialty training in both of these areas, I was trained in the management of stone disease at the Scottish Lithotriptor Centre in Edinburgh, and have trained in the technique of microsurgical vasectomy reversal.

Personal profile

I trained at the University of Otago School Medicine in New Zealand, and came to the UK on a one year working holiday in 1989. I am still here! I have a busy clinical practice, but when I am not working I enjoy running, and undertake half marathons to raise money for charity. My other interests include following English football, and writing medical and non medical articles for newspapers and magazines.
