Mrs Nicky Oakes

I qualified from Manchester University in 2002 and started my career working in the NHS. During this time I gained a broad range of experience in the core areas of physiotherapy before specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

I later moved to the private sector to continue to specialise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy in both the inpatient and outpatient setting gaining a particular interest in post-operative orthopaedic management. With a passion for driving quality improvement projects and delivering clinical excellence, I moved into a leadership role.

In 2015, I relocated to the Wirral and began my career at Murrayfield Hospital Wirral, where I managed the physiotherapy team since 2023.
