I have worked as a speech and language therapist specialising in neuro for over 30 years. I have a particular interest in acquired and traumatic brain injury. I have experience in diagnosing swallowing problems in brain injury and I am special advisor in dysphagia to the royal college of speech and language therapists.
I am a consultant dysphagia practitioner, undertaking private videofluoroscopies for adults. I also act as an expert witness in large multi-track cases in both personal injury and medical negligence cases in the coroners, criminal and civil court.
I am the Director of Judith A Scholefield & Associates one of the largest private neuro speech and language therapy practices in the country.
