I have been a consultant since 2017 and a consolidated experience of 14 years in trauma and orthopaedics, which includes working in tertiary hospitals covering complex orthopaedic cases. I regularly see and treat both simple and complex foot and ankle cases.
I qualified as a doctor in 2000, completed basic surgical training in Scotland and further surgical training in Oswestry and the West Midlands. I became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2016 and completed my Masters in Trauma and Orthopaedics-ChM from the University of Edinburgh. I have over two years of specialist fellowship training, one of this is recognised by the British Orthopaedic Association, and led to the award of Level 7 certification in Leadership and Strategic Management.
I am currently working as a substantive consultant in Brighton and Sussex University Hospital with sub-specialty interest in lower limb trauma, knee, foot and ankle.
I am currently a Lead foot and ankle surgeon and member of the British Foot and Ankle Society, British Orthopaedic Association and MDDUS.
