I have been a consultant orthopaedic surgeon for over 11 years and my expertise is in knee surgery – soft tissue, cartilage regeneration, bespoke cartilage defect resurfacing, joint replacement (robotic and standard) and I also treat hip problems.

My primary subspeciality is in all facets of knee surgery. My Consultant practise incorporates cartilage regeneration and bespoke cartilage defect replacement, primary knee replacement (partial and total – robotic and standard), revision knee surgery, soft tissue /ligament knee reconstruction and knee arthroscopy (including meniscal repair and debridement). I also perform hip injection primary hip replacement (robotic and standard).

To date, in both my NHS and private practice,  I have performed over:
- 1,500 Knee replacements (partial and total including robotic)
- 2,500 knee arthroscopies
- 500 knee ligament reconstructions
- 500 Hip replacements (including robotic)
- 3,000 trauma cases

Since 2018, I have been a Trauma & Orthopaedics, Higher surgical training (ST3) National Selection Interview panelist.

I am known for treating patients “as my own”, with an approachable demeanour and a holistic approach to patient care as evidenced on the testimonials pages of my website. I perform surgery to a high standard with excellent patient outcomes and constantly seek improvement in surgical skill and technologies.
