Professional profile

My interest in joint replacement of the hip and knee developed in my two periods as a resident surgeon at the Centre for Joint Replacement Surgery at Wrightington Hospital, which was established by the late Professor Charnley.

Since 1986, while in Winchester, I have developed my experience in lower limb surgery for rhuematoid and other inflammatory joint disease.

My interest in general orthopaedic conditions continues and includes management of trigger fingers, carpal tunnels, ganglia and the assessment of back ache and sciatica, as well as continuing to manage trauma.
