I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in foot and ankle surgery in Hull and East Yorkshire, with expertise in both routine and complex conditions. My practice covers all aspects of foot and ankle care, including ankle replacement and fusion, bunion correction, treatment of chronic foot pain and sports injuries, as well as tendo Achilles surgery, arthroscopic surgery and knee replacement.
I regularly perform procedures such as ankle arthroscopy, arthroscopic ankle fusion and total ankle replacement, alongside correction of complex foot deformities, including flat foot reconstruction and neuroma treatment. In addition to my specialist foot and ankle work, I also undertake knee replacement surgery, including computer-assisted techniques to support precision and improved outcomes.
I completed my basic surgical training in East Yorkshire, before undertaking higher orthopaedic training in Oswestry and Manchester, where I developed a strong focus on foot and ankle surgery. I further enhanced my expertise through a dedicated fellowship at Wrightington Orthopaedic Hospital. I was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust in 2007.
I am actively involved in research and have published articles on topics including total ankle replacement and tendo Achilles surgery. My aim is to provide high-quality, patient‑centred care, helping patients return to an active and pain-free lifestyle.
