I have been practicing as an independent consultant in the field of hip and knee surgery for more than 10 years. I have received training nationally, developing my knowledge and understanding to a variety of surgical techniques.
I specialise in general orthopaedic surgery with specific interest in lower limb arthroplasty. I have a special interest in performing hip replacements through minimally invasive anterior approach, also known as AMIS or DAA.
To date, I have performed over 1,100 joint replacements, over 375 knee arthroscopies and 150 forefoot surgical procedures, including Bunion correction and big toe arthritis.
I am regular reviewer of scientific articles published in journals, such as the Journal of Royal College of Surgeons.
I have always had a keen interest in Research and Audit. I have published widely on hip and knee surgery in numerous peer reviewed journals. I have presented my work at local, national and international meetings.
