Specialises in
Virtual consultations:
I have been working at Royal Free Hospital as a consultant urologist for eight years. In this time, I have not only displayed competence and compassion in looking after patients with bladder dysfunction, but established a video-urodynamics service that attracts referrals from neighbouring Trusts, PTNS service for overactive bladder and urethral bulking service for stress urinary incontinence. I have also set up multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) for complex UTI and urinary incontinence.
I specialise in functional and reconstructive urology and look after patients with neurogenic and non-neurogenic bladder dysfunction, overactive bladder, stress urinary incontinence, male LUTS, urethral stricture, UTIs, urinary fistulas etc.
I am the Clinical Lead for lower urinary tract services at my Trust, the MDT Lead for urinary incontinence and Lead for undergraduate urology teaching at UCL.
Besides my clinical commitments, I take an active part in education and research and have recently finished recruitment for two multi-centre clinical trials as a Principal Investigator.
My flexibility, listening skills and easy approachability are my strengths. I believe medicine is as much an art as science and must be practised with care, sensitivity and respect. To me, in healthcare provision, the clinician’s soft skills are as important, if not more, as their knowledge and technical skills.
