I have been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for 20 years and have extensive experience in all aspects of hip and knee replacements including revision and complex joint replacements. I'm proud to offer VELYS™ robotic-assisted solution, adding a new level of precision and accuracy for total knee replacement surgery.

I am a high volume hip and knee replacement surgeon with excellent outcomes as evidenced in my National Joint Registry data. In my career, I have carried out over 2,500 hip replacements, over 3,000 knee replacements, over 250 revision hip replacements and over 450 revision knee replacements.

Such extensive experience allows me to offer excellent advice on all aspects of hip and knee problems including arthritis, pain, problems with previously replaced joints and injuries.

I am the clinical lead for the revision hip and knee replacement network in West Yorkshire, representing the region in national meetings and setting the agenda and direction of future developments in this complex area of hip and knee replacements.

I supervise and mentor senior trainees (fellows) who have completed their training and are developing their surgical skills prior to being appointed as a consultant.
