I am a consultant surgeon whose clinical practice is dedicated to treating patients with problems of the shoulder, elbow and upper limb using the latest techniques. I provide expert surgery for the following areas: Arthroscopic (keyhole) reconstructive shoulder surgery for shoulder impingement, rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability (dislocations), frozen shoulder and sports related injuries of the shoulder and elbow.

My main surgical interest is in arthroscopic (keyhole) shoulder surgery for the treatment of impingement, rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability (dislocations), frozen shoulder and sports related injuries. I also offer a full range of surgery for shoulder and elbow arthritis including joint resurfacing and total joint replacements including both standard and reverse polarity arthroplasties. My consultations are available to patients in and around the Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire areas.

I am an expert surgeon whose clinical practice is dedicated solely to the shoulder, elbow and upper limb. I perform over 500 operations on the upper limb each year for chronic conditions, acute conditions, sports injuries and fractures. I regularly perform arthroscopic keyhole shoulder surgery and teach these specialist techniques to other surgeons on national courses.

I ensure patients have plenty of time in their consultations to provide clear details of their condition and treatment options available. I provide evidence based treatment plans and offer the latest treatment techniques. I work very closely with therapists to optimise my patient's recovery in the most rapid time possible.

I qualified from St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College London and later underwent specialist orthopaedic training in London. I subsequently undertook an advanced training fellowship in complex upper limb reconstruction in the UK. In 2009 I was awarded the prestigious British Orthopaedic Association European Travelling Fellowship whereby I gained invaluable experience from four of the world’s leading shoulder surgeons in France, Italy and Switzerland.

I have published numerous research papers in orthopaedic surgery and this work has been presented at many national and international meetings. I am responsible for teaching higher surgical trainees and am also a faculty member for courses provided nationally teaching techniques of arthroscopic shoulder reconstructive surgery to other orthopaedic consultants and higher trainees.
