I have been a Consultant Geriatrician and Stroke Physician since May 2009.
I have multiple areas of interests including all aspects of general and geriatric medicine, assessment of the older adult with complex medical problems, stroke and transient ischaemic attacks, funny turns/dizzy spells, peri operative assessments, hypertension and heart failure in older patients, memory impairment and dementia. I am a member of the British association of Stroke Physicians and also a Royal College of Physicians Representative.
I completed my specialist training in general internal medicine and geriatric medicine on the North West London SPR rotation before taking up a substantive consultant role as a Consultant Geriatrician with an interest in stroke medicine at University College London and North Middlesex University Hospitals.I moved to West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust in 2014.
In addition to my clinical role, I am also the Clinical Lead for stroke services in West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
