I am a consultant maxillofacial and facial plastic surgeon with over 30 years experience. My maxillofacial special clinical interests include head and neck cancer, facial skin cancer, and salivary gland disease.
My facial plastic surgery specialist interests include reconstructive surgery, laser surgery and cosmetic facial surgery, including: face lifts, neck lifts, brow lifts, cheek implants, chin implants, eyelid surgery or eyelid or eye bag removal, laser treatments for lines and wrinkles and scar revision.
I qualified in dentistry in Liverpool (1978) and medicine in Cardiff (1991). My surgical training was in the West Midlands (Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Stoke on Trent). I have also worked in Holland, Hong Kong and the USA.
In 1999 I was appointed as Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth and St Mary's Newport, Isle of Wight.
I have previously been a consultant in the RAF at Royal Hospital Haslar from 1996 to 1999.

Personal profile
I am married to Lin and have two children, Lucie and Hollie. Outside work my interests are family and various sports, which include football, cricket, golf, horse racing and motor racing.
I have participated in all of these sports except horse racing, although I do have a share in race horse ownership and even had a winner at Royal Ascot. I play golf when I can and am a member of the MCC. I have a particular interest in football and I am a director at local club, Havant and Waterlooville FC.
