I have worked in the NHS for more than 20 years, with almost all of my career spent in surgery. My main areas of interest are breast surgery, hernia repair, laparoscopic gall bladder surgery and day case surgery. I am committed to providing clear advice and personalised care, helping patients feel informed and supported throughout their treatment.
During my surgical training, I worked in a variety of hospital posts, mainly in Hull, London and Barnsley. Since December 1999, I have held a full-time consultant surgeon position at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Alongside my clinical work, I have also been involved in research into breast cancer while working in the Academic Unit at the University of Hull. I have presented research papers at both national and international conferences.
