I completed my MBBS and MS (Orthopaedics) in India before moving to the UK to undertake advanced training in Trauma and Orthopaedics. I completed my specialist training in South Wales and Manchester and achieved specialist registration in 2010.
I have developed sub-specialist expertise in paediatric orthopaedics and adult foot and ankle surgery, supported by dedicated fellowships in paediatric orthopaedics and adult lower limb surgery. I provide a comprehensive service covering both children and adults, including paediatric foot and ankle conditions, as well as a full range of adult procedures such as foot and ankle surgery, bunion (hallux valgus) treatment, hammer toe correction, neuroma treatment and deformity correction.
My surgical practice includes advanced techniques such as ankle arthroscopy and keyhole surgery, ligament reconstruction of the ankle, and Achilles tendon surgery, alongside forefoot and hindfoot procedures. I also perform selected joint replacement procedures where appropriate, helping to reduce pain and restore mobility.
Before joining Hull and East Yorkshire NHS Trust, I worked as a Consultant at the internationally renowned Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, gaining extensive experience in complex paediatric orthopaedics. I have a strong interest in research, with over 20 publications in international orthopaedic journals and more than 40 presentations at national and international meetings.
In addition to my clinical work, I provide a prompt and professional medico-legal reporting service.
