I studied dentistry and medicine, and gained my MFDS in dentistry and general surgery MRCS at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
I completed an accredited five year programme in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Leicester, Derby, Lincoln and Nottingham with numerous international presentations. After successful completion of the intercollegiate FRCS in OMFS, I worked as a locum consultant post at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
I have been an NHS consultant in the UK since July 2014 and developed my areas of clinical practice in oral surgery, facial deformity surgery and trauma. I have strong education and research interests.
I see all patients with neck lumps and swellings, except suspected thyroid disease, which should be referred to ENT.
I also see patients with facial pain of any sort and patients with suspected salivary gland disease.
I specialise in soft and hard tissue trauma of the head and neck including animal and human bites, aswell as temporomandibular joint problems and treatment for all conditions of the mouth and jaws.
I have a special clinical interest in wisdom tooth surgery, TMJ jaw joint disorders, surgery of mouth, jaws, face, salivary gland disease, oral medicine, facial pain, neck lumps - benign, dental surgery and infections.
