I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon based at the Bristol Urological Institute (BUI) at Southmead Hospital, Bristol.
I maintain a diverse urological practice which encompasses high volume endourology (stone disease, benign conditions and upper tract urothelial cancer) and core urology with a specialist interest in male lower urinary tract symptoms, including benign prostatic enlargement.
After graduating from the University of Leicester with a joint medical degree and PhD in microbiology (MBPhD), I completed my basic surgical training in London and Essex before moving to the South West to complete my higher urology training. I became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2020 and entered the Specialist Register in 2021. After completion of my training, I completed a fellowship in Holmium LASER enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital before taking up my consultant post at the BUI in 2022.
I am actively involved in the training of medical students and junior doctors at the University of Bristol Medical School and regularly examine on British Association of Urological Surgeons training courses.
