Professional profile
Mr. Griffin graduated from University College Dublin in 1994. He completed a Masters degree in Physiology in 1996. He moved to Cambridge in 2001 and completed specialist training in adult urology in the Eastern Deanery prior to appointment to fellowship training in Paediatric Urology at Southampton General Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. He was also awarded European Society of Paediatric Urology and British Urological Foundation travelling fellowships for visits to the Hopital Necker, Paris and Hopital Lenval, Nice, France.
He joined the Department of Paediatric Urology at Southampton as a consultant in 2009. He is involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. He is part of the examination panel for the FRCSUrol, and regularly writes articles for Urology News. He is currently the treasurer for the Journal of Pediatric Urology and will become the British Association of Paediatric Urologists representative on the SAC in Urology in 2012.

Personal Profile
Born in Dublin, Mr. Griffin has worked in the UK for more than 10 years. He is married with 5 children. He is a keen runner and has completed a number of half marathons raising thousands for his favourite charities. He also coaches at a local junior football club and enjoys watching rugby.
