I offer routine and complex micro-incisional cataract surgery as well as a full range of ophthalmic plastic surgical procedures. These include upper and lower blepharoplasty, ptosis correction, eyelid skin cancer excision and reconstruction, lacrimal disorders and orbital disease.
I have several publications in peer reviewed ophthalmology journals and have presented at national and international conferences.
I was educated at Christ's Hospital School, near Horsham in West Sussex. Following which, I studied medicine in London at St Mary's Hospital and graduated in 1999. I undertook my basic ophthalmic training in Taunton and Southampton and following this gained a place on the Wessex higher surgical training rotation.
In 2010 I completed my training and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and was included on the specialist register of Ophthalmic Surgeons. I have developed an interest in ophthalmic plastic surgery and have completed two fellowships in this subspecialty; one in the UK at Salisbury and Southampton hospitals and one at the Sydney Eye Hospital, Australia.
During my career I have also found time to perform charity work in Burma, as part of the Myanmar Eye Care Program.

Personal profile
I have always been a keen sportsman. I have played rugby for St Mary's Hospital, Sussex, English Universities and Winchester. During my fellowship year, whilst living in Sydney, Australia, I was introduced to ocean swimming and competed in many ocean swims; this included the famous Palm Beach Whale Beach swim on Sydney's northern beaches. After returning to the UK I have kept up my interest in open water swimming and have recently started competing in triathlons.
