Specialises in
I have worked full time in the NHS since 2009, dealing with the full range of abdominal complaints and bowel surgery. There are few conditions I haven’t seen or treated.
I take a methodical approach to problems, particularly when patients have been told surgery can’t help (for example due to adhesions, or where a diagnosis isn’t clear).
I enjoy treating the common conditions (piles, hernia, lumps) but also, and especially, those that require a subtle surgical approach (fistula and anal problems) or highly complex surgery (such as endometriosis infiltrating the bowel).
When symptoms are more challenging to solve, I maintain an open and honest discussion about where to turn next, and which other specialists might offer help.
