I have been a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon since 2006 and specialise in hip and knee replacement surgery. Within the field of hip replacement surgery I undertake both primary (first time) and revision (re-do) replacements, irrespective of the complexity of the problem. My personal expertise in undertaking any complexity of hip replacement surgery comes from being a pelvic and acetabular (hip socket) trauma surgeon involving reconstruction of completely shattered pelvises, and hip sockets. I am the only surgeon providing this service for all of the East Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire, and Eastern half of North Yorkshire. I also treat patients with pregnancy related pelvic problems.

As a knee replacement surgeon, I do patient specific knee replacement surgery ie replacement that is made to measure from scans taken before surgery. My wide experience in all of the above areas, comes from having trained in Yorkshire (UK), Calgary (Canada), Paris (France) and Bhopa (India).
