I carry out treatments for hip, knee and shoulder problems and I also treat sports injuries.
I am a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust (Good Hope and Solihull Hospital). Apart from general orthopaedics, my special interests include hip and knee replacement surgery, personalised/customised knee replacements, arthroscopic surgery and sports injury.
Having completed my higher orthopaedic training, I then completed advanced surgical fellowships in joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery and trauma from London, Birmingham and Nottingham.
I am actively involved in teaching of medical students and trainee surgeons and am an honorary clinical tutor for the University of Birmingham Medical School.
I have published papers in several scientific journals and regularly present at national and international orthopaedic meetings. Research and publication interests: Cartilage transplantation, acute knee injury and fractures around joints. Treatment of arthritis in younger patients.
