I received excellent training in the whole spectrum of Maxillofacial Surgery and developed a special interest in the management of facial deformity, Temporomandibular joint disease and surgery, including joint replacements, facial pain management, post traumatic deformity and surgical dermatology. This is in addition to the full spectrum of oral surgery, including implantology and diagnostic oral medicine.

Following qualification in Dentistry and Medicine from the University of Wales, Cardiff I undertook my basic training across South Wales prior to being appointed to Higher Specialist Training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the West Midlands. I trained in three level 1 trauma centres including the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and Birmingham Children’s Hospital which is one of four national centres for Craniofacial Surgery.

I am a core member of the skin cancer MDT based at Tameside Hospital and have extensive experience in managing benign and malignant head and neck skin disease. I am a member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Facial Surgery and preform the full range of non surgical facial aesthetic procedures.

I have excellent communication skills and able to build rapport with colleagues and patients. Holistic patient care is an integral part of my training and practice. I empathise well with people. I always aim to provide the highest quality care to my patients.
