Professional profile

I specialise in minimally invasive, ureteroscopic as well as percutaneous approach for renal and ureteric stones. I also sub-specialise in laser surgery for prostate and bladder cancer and stones. I take an active interest in dealing with female incontinence and provide botox therapy as well as neuro-stimulation. Surgeries for various genitalia and foreskin pathologies are performed as well as investigations and managements for all forms of urological malignancies and exotic infections.

I am a graduate of the famous Dow Medical College in Pakistan. I completed my higher surgical training in urology with special interest in endourology (stone diseases) in Newcastle. Then, I completed my Royal College membership in 2008 and fellowship in urology in 2015. I have completed advance endourological training and fellowship in the UK as well as high volume centres in South East Asia. I have also worked with Prof. Arthur Smith, the father of endourology based in the United States.

I maintain an active role in teaching and training of junior doctors. I am a clinical tutor and supervisor for foundation and specialty trainees. I am also an honorary visiting lecturer at the Dow University of Health Sciences.

I have been actively involved in multiple international and national charitable organisations and I take part in delivering health facilities on ground in the developing world as well as funds collection.
