I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee conditions, helping patients manage pain, improve mobility and return to everyday activities.
I treat a wide range of concerns, including arthritis, sports injuries and joint problems affecting the hip and knee. I offer both non-surgical treatments, such as injections and rehabilitation, as well as surgical options where needed. These include knee arthroscopy for ligament and meniscal injuries, osteotomy procedures to help realign the knee, and both partial and total joint replacement surgery.
I trained in the UK after studying medicine at the University of Cambridge, with specialist orthopaedic training in Nottingham and Cambridge. I have also completed further fellowship training internationally, developing additional expertise in managing complex hip and knee conditions.
Alongside my clinical work, I hold leadership roles within the NHS, including involvement in infection control and lower limb services, and have contributed to national guideline development. I am also actively involved in teaching and research, helping to improve care and outcomes for patients.
I understand how much hip and knee problems can affect quality of life, so I take time to explain treatment options clearly and support patients in making informed decisions about their care.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through running, hiking and skiing.
