I maintain an interest in general orthopaedics and trauma surgery with a specialist interest in hip and knee surgery. This includes hip and knee primary and complex joint replacements as well as knee arthroscopic surgery and hip arthroscopic surgery (keyhole surgery) and unicompartmental (partial) knee replacement. I have a special interest in revision/complex hip surgery.

I qualified in India and completed a postgraduate degree in orthopaedics (MS). I worked as a lecturer in a teaching hospital for two years. I have completed specialist training in orthopaedics and worked within the Yorkshire region for the majority of my career in England. After this I trained at the world renowned Wrightington Hospital, a highly specialised tertiary referral centre for joint replacements, for one year as a hip and knee joint replacement (arthroplasty) fellow.

I have a keen interest in clinical research and have published several research articles in the international orthopaedic journals.
