I have been a consultant surgeon here in Leeds for over six years. I am experienced in all aspects of upper GI Surgery including resectional cancer surgery and weight loss surgery.
I specialise in the following: upper gastrointestinal surgical oncology, laparoscopic (minimally invasive) gastrointestinal surgery, anti-reflux and achalasia surgery, weight loss surgery (gastric band, sleeve gastrectomy), gallstones removal, gallbladder disease, hernia surgery and all aspects of general surgery including local anaesthetic procedures and toenail surgery.
I have been working in the private sector for over five years. My private practice reflects my NHS practice.
I have published widely in peer reviewed journals and I was awarded a higher medical degree through Oxford University in 2008. I publish widely in all aspects of oesophago-gastric surgical oncology and am a reviewer for the Annals of the Royal College of Surgeon.

I usually spend most of my spare time in my ‘Dad Taxi’, ferrying our three children around to their various parties, play dates and sporting activities! I also enjoy keeping fit at my local gym and travelling with my family, exploring European cities and sampling the fine wines their locals have to offer.
