I am a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at the Manchester Royal Infirmary. Having received training in all the common forms of endovenous surgery for varicose veins, I completed a comparison of them while a Fellow in Australia.
I specialise in most areas of vascular surgery, with a particular interest and focus on complex bypass and angioplasty techniques. I am developing programmes focussed on minimally invasive surgical techniques such as endoscopic vein harvest and percutaneous aneurysm surgery.
I am a Senior Lecturer (Honorary) at the University of Manchester, in this role, I supervise a PhD student and have secured funding for a number of ongoing studies.
