I completed my higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics on the Bristol Rotation. During this time I developed an interest in upper limb surgery, specifically elbow, wrist and hand surgery. I underwent subspecialty training in Nottingham (interface hand fellowship) and Sheffield (revision elbow shoulder and elbow surgery and sports surgery).
I have been appointed as a consultant upper limb surgeon in Bristol Royal Infirmary. My practice comprises of both secondary and tertiary elective and trauma referrals. These include rheumatoid surgery, osteoarthritis surgery, joint replacement, complex fracture management, arthroscopy and sports surgery.
I have a special interest in research, have published more than 45 peer-reviewed articles and I have authored a number of key chapters in orthopaedic textbooks.
