I am a substantive Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with experience across NHS, private and international healthcare settings in the UK, the Channel Islands and Romania. I hold a PhD in Medicine and am on the GMC Specialist Register for Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
I have built a reputation for surgical excellence in minimally invasive gynaecology, performing more than 600 procedures in the last year alone. My expertise includes total laparoscopic hysterectomy, complex myomectomy, endometriosis surgery, operative hysteroscopy and other advanced endoscopic procedures.
I have also played a key role in service development and clinical leadership, leading the gynaecology arm of the Robotic Steering Group at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and helping to introduce robotic-assisted surgery at Trust level. Alongside my surgical practice, I oversee the Preterm Birth Prevention Service and lead fertility pathway redesign initiatives.
I specialise in minimally invasive and laparoscopic gynaecological surgery, including total laparoscopic hysterectomy, complex myomectomy, operative hysteroscopy for the removal of polyps, fibroids and adhesions, fertility-preserving surgery, endometriosis treatment, and ovarian cyst management with fertility preservation.
