I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in shoulder and elbow conditions, with extensive experience treating both everyday problems and more complex injuries.
I support patients with a wide range of concerns, including frozen shoulder, rotator cuff problems, joint pain and instability, as well as sports injuries. I also treat conditions affecting the nerves, such as carpal tunnel syndrome and cubital tunnel syndrome, and offer care for tendon-related issues including tennis and golfer’s elbow.
I provide both non-surgical treatments, such as injections and rehabilitation advice, and surgical options where needed, including keyhole (arthroscopic) procedures and joint replacement surgery. My aim is to restore movement, reduce pain and help patients return to their usual activities as quickly and safely as possible.
I trained in the North West of England and further developed my expertise through advanced fellowship training in upper limb surgery, including experience at leading orthopaedic centres in the UK and internationally.
Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in teaching and training, supporting orthopaedic trainees and contributing to education across the region. I also participate in research and professional development within shoulder and elbow surgery.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, keeping active and taking part in a range of sports.
