I am a specialist knee surgeon and my training over the last 15 years has been an on-going journey involving periods in London, Cambridge, Oxford and Sydney under the supervision of some outstanding mentors in whose debt I will always remain. I undertook my medical training at University College London and higher surgical training in orthopaedic surgery on the Cambridge rotation. In 2010 I undertook specialist fellowship training in knee surgery at the internationally renowned North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre under the tutelage of Dr Merv Cross and Dr Leo Pinczewski. On my return from Australia I spent a further two years training in trauma, hip and knee surgery in Oxford, with a further six months spent with Mr Tim Spalding covering all aspects of knee surgery. My specialist interests are sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery, ligament reconstruction, meniscal preservation (repair), cartilage regeneration surgery, osteotomy (re-alignment), patellofemoral surgery as well as partial and total knee replacement. I also perform primary hip replacement surgery.I am on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council and undergo annual appraisal and regular re validation.
